Media vs. Advertising: Is there a difference?
An advertising campaign has two core components to it: the "creative" work, and the "media" work. People easily recognize the "creative" work - TV or radio spots, artwork for print or outdoor ads, or banner ads and an expanding array of digital media. "Media" services refer to the planning, negotiating and placing of the creative work on different media outlets - T.V, radio, newspaper, digital, out-of-home, etc.
As media buyers, our goal is to construct the most effective campaign possible, by running ads on the right medium, at the right time, to the right audience, for the most cost-effective price, in order to achieve the greatest possible impact for a given budget. We excel at the "business" side of advertising - managing budgets and maximizing available funds through rigorous analysis, strategy, planning and post-campaign remediation. This maximizes ROI for our clients.
